There are two ways to go about incorporating knobs and pulls seamlessly in one kitchen.
Upper cabinet handle placement. Cabinet knobs are placed opposite of door hinges. The typical height to place knobs is 25 3 from the bottom of the door on upper cabinets or from the top of the door on lower cabinets. On wall cabinets knobs are usually placed 2-12 to 3 from the bottom corner of the door.

Or in other words the knob is placed about 2-12 from the bottom of upper cabinet doors or 2-12 from the top of a bottom cabinet door.
